Physical Accessibility

All on-campus buildings, except the Edmonia Lewis Center, are ADA-compliant.

Restrooms in all college buildings, except for the Cat, are wheelchair accessible.

The Oberlin Inn is ADA compliant and willing to assist guests with guide animals.

Rides will be provided to/from the hotel to on-campus locations.

All food available at the Conference will be labeled for ingredients. Vegetarian food options will be available. In case of dietary restrictions, please notify the registration desk.

Gender Accessibility

All-gender restrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd levels of Wilder Hall (Student Union building, across from the Science Center) and in all residential halls.

One all-gender single-use restroom is available in the Science Center.

Please indicate gender preference for assigned host on registration form.

Language Accessibility

An ASL interpreter will be on call for the weekend.

In order to enable full conference participation, fullest efforts will be made to satisfy any other language needs indicated during registration (on the form or at the desk).

Code of Conduct

Backlash is the phenomenon where people with power and privilege believe or claim they are being oppressed, when in fact they are being asked to relinquish or be accountable for some of their power and privilege. To promote a supportive environment, disrespect and backlash have no place at WOWH.

All conference participants are requested to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Any participant responsible for creating an uncomfortable, unsafe or disruptive environment may be required to leave to conference. For more information on accessibility, please see the Accountability Statement.
